2 - How can I participate?
It’s as easy as uploading a photo that you took and that you really like, and telling all your friends to support you by voting for your picture.
3 - Is there a charge involved?
Each entry that is submitted for participation in the ONE MILLION DOLLAR CONTEST must pay a one-dollar entry fee plus taxes, so we recommend that you take advantage of this by uploading your photos in series or groups, since registration and voting are absolutely free.
4 - How many photos by the same contestant can enter any given group?
You can upload as many photos as you want. However, there is a limit of 50 photos per group. In case you have uploaded more photos, those in excess of this limit will enter the following group, but they will always participate.
For example, if you upload 100 photos, 50 of them will enter one group and the remainder go on to another, and so on. Just keep in mind that there may be other contestants uploading photos at the same time, so submissions for specific groups may reach their limit very quickly.
5 - What kind of prizes are there?
The contest looks like the World Cup, there are semi-finalists who win $ 100 USD, finalists who earn $ 10,000 USD, and a winner who gets ONE MILLION DOLARS, this is how it works, for example: you pay a dollar and you upload a photo, you will be in a group of 1,000 photos, invite all your friends to vote and if you win in that group, you become a semi-finalist and win $ 100 USD, and you will automatically enter to another group against 500 photos with the same rules, the vote is public and you have to invite all your friends to vote for you, and if you do, and win, you will get $ 10,000 USD, and now you will be a finalist and will compete against 9 other people to win THE MILLION DOLAR Prize.
Of course, you can put all the photos you want to have more chances to win.
6 - Can the same photo win more than once?
Yes. Even though a photo has already participated in a contest, it can start again from the beginning.
7 - How can prizes be claimed?
Prizes are paid through PayPal, so participants must have an account to be able to enter the contests.
PayPal is a free internet account which enables you to securely send and receive money online without having to share your banking information.
9 - Can I enter a contest at any age?
MyHobb.com® accepts participants from 18 to 200 years old, although minors can participate if they are represented by their parents.
Voting is totally public, so any person who enters the site may vote. That’s why it is important for you to tell all your friends to vote for your photos.
11 - Do I keep the rights to my photos on entering a contest?
Of course, you will always be acknowledged as the author of your photos. MyHobb.com® fully respects your creative rights. You can sell your photos, give them away or use them any way you want.
12 - How many photos can I enter into the contest?
As many as you want. There is no limit.
13 - Do the photos have to be mine?
Yes. You have to be the author, or have title to the intellectual rights of the work in question.
14 - Can I upload any kind of photo?
Because voting is free and public, we recommend that you upload only your best photos. That way you will have better chances of getting more people to like them and vote for them.
On the other hand, since MyHobb.com® is committed to providing only family-oriented, wholesome entertainment to users of all ages, uploading of images with pornographic, racist, violent or otherwise inappropriate contents shall be strictly prohibited, in which case such images will be deleted from the website and those users incurring in this kind of behavior will be immediately barred from access to the site, we recommend as well to avoid uploading pictures with minors on it.
15 - Do I need to upload my photos in any particular format?
Yes. All photos should be submitted in .jpg .png .bmp format and they should be between 600 and 2000 pixels wide with 2Mb as Max.
16 - Do my photos have to be about any particular topic or subjects?
No. Subjects and topics are totally free. However, in accordance with our previously stated aims, MyHobb.com® strictly prohibits photos depicting nudity, pornography, violence or any other inappropriate contents.MyHobb.com® acts in the understanding that even though there may be journalistic or artistic images that depict these topics with honest intentions and high cultural value, such images will nonetheless be rejected for publication on our website.
